About Sophie
I am a 4th year student at University College London, on an integrated masters course. I major in Physics and minor in Mathematics and Statistics. I have always loved studying STEM subjects, more recently developing a passion for computing. I have undertaken an internship for Gazprom Energy within the forecasting team, using Python to develop code to identify outliers.
Previously I have taught at Bucksmore Education (Oxford International) summer schools teaching both Mathematics and Robotics to students aged 14-17. I taught mainly content to bridge the gap between GCSE and A-Level to international students across varied academic backgrounds. As the student cohort varied week to week, I had to be constantly updating the course material and adjusting the difficulty to match the current classes ability.
I would love to tutor Maths and Physics at any level, but I do have more tutoring experience for aged 17 and under.
