About Abyan
Hi, I'm a first-year Mathematical Computation student at UCL with a strong passion for mathematics. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the demands of the current syllabus and the challenges students face when preparing for exams.
Academically, I achieved A* grades in both A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, alongside a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics. I also achieved full marks in multiple Mathematics examination papers, including a Further Mathematics paper, reflecting the depth of understanding and attention to detail that I aim to pass on to my students.
I decided to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others develop their understanding of mathematics and gain confidence in their abilities. Mathematics can seem daunting at first, but with the right explanations and approach, it becomes far more accessible and rewarding.
Alongside my studies, I have built over two years of tutoring experience, teaching students exam technique based on recent personal exam experience. I now offer GCSE Mathematics, A-Level Mathematics, and Further Mathematics online lessons. I am committed to providing a professional, reliable, and supportive tutoring experience, helping students reach their full academic potential.

I offer interactive online GCSE, A-Level and Further Mathematics tuition tailored to each student's individual needs. Before each lesson, I discuss with students which topics they would like to focus on and prepare bespoke materials and worked examples in advance. Lessons are delivered via Zoom using my iPad, digital pen, laser pointer, and colour-coded annotations to provide clear visual explanations and an engaging learning experience from the comfort of the student's own home. I focus on building strong mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and exam technique through guided practice, past paper walkthroughs, and targeted support on any questions students have found challenging throughout the week.
I am currently studying Mathematical Computation at University College London (UCL) and have over two years of tutoring experience teaching GCSE Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics. Academically, I achieved A* grades in both A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities studying GCSE Mathematics, A-Level Mathematics, or A-Level Further Mathematics. Lessons can be arranged flexibly at hourly rates, with no fixed commitment required.
