About Gillian
I recently graduated with a degree in neuroscience. I want to teach because I know that subjects like maths and science can sometimes feel intimidating, but with the right explanation and practice, they can become much more approachable. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and develop confidence in their abilities.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students build confidence and a clear understanding of maths and science. I break down complex topics into simple steps and tailor lessons to each student's needs. During sessions, we will work through explanations, examples, and practice questions to reinforce understanding and improve their problem-solving skills.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can include homework help, exam preparation, or revision of challenging topics.
I recently graduated with a degree in Neuroscience, which has given me strong analytical and scientific skills, as well as experience in explaining complex ideas clearly.
My lessons are suitable for primary and GCSE students who want extra support in maths or science, whether they are preparing for exams or looking to strengthen their understanding of the subject.
