I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the student’s needs, learning style, and exam requirements. Exam Technique & Essay Writing – Teaching how to structure essays, analyse sources, and apply political theories effectively to score high marks. Real-World Applications – Using current events to make topics more engaging and relevant. Lesson Structure: Typical Length: 1 hour (can be adjusted based on student preference). Format: A mix of explanation, discussion, and practice questions. Resources: Past papers, case studies, academic readings, and interactive exercises. I am a History and Politics of the Americas student at UCL, giving me strong academic grounding in political theory, international relations, and comparative politics. I have 1 year of experience tutoring A-Level Politics students, helping them refine their essay-writing and analytical skills. Additionally, my essay plans have been used within my previous school's Politics departments, providing structured resources to aid understanding and revision for students.
