About Robert
I have a 2:1 (Hons) in Eastern European and Slavonic History from UCL, including modules in politics. I have been providing tutoring to various family members and their friends over the last five years in history, politics and in general knowledge. This has been for GCSE and A-Level, with all my tutored students getting the required grades and university places that they desired.

My teaching methodology is based on providing a core structured programme depending on student needs, but being flexible in adapting this over time depending on how the sessions go. From session to session I will adapt the plan to meet a student's needs as I strongly believe that there is one solution that works for everyone. For some students it may be that they need information taught to them via a powerpoint presentation and for others a more interactive method may be the best way.

Perfect! I am delighted with my tutoring sessions with Robert. I was unsure in general about getting a tutor but now I am so glad to say that it has been totally helpful for me. Robert has a great style of teaching and puts a lot of effort and thought into planning each lesson. He thinks of the individual and how they like to learn and incorporates this into his lessons. I really appreciate his clear style of explaining hard to understand subjects.
- Ana was an excellent, knowing exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it taught. We did four double-lessons in five days and I was impressed that her enthusiasm remained so high, despite the difficult nature of the subject mater.
