UCL graduate teaching Maths, Science, English and Spanish - English tutor with Nilo

Nilo worked with our family as a home-school tutor for our two daughters aged 4 and 6, during the COVID-19 lockdown. Nilo was in charge of teaching the girls maths, English reading and writing, science and art. He did a great job at teaching to the school curriculum and managing both girls’ workload for each day, while making sure they enjoyed their time at home-school! He was also responsible for organizing learning materials, managing time spent on various different learning activities, and taking care of them in-between lessons for lunch or trips to the park.

Nilo’s patience is one of his best qualities as a tutor. He was always happy to spend as much time as needed for the girls to understand the day’s work and different concepts whether that be learning about fractions in maths, or trying out similes in English. In addition, Nilo has a great approach to teaching – he knows how to make learning fun for children and keeps them engaged and excited to learn throughout the day.
