About Aroon
I am currently studying MSc Bio-anthropology at UCL and I hold a BSc degree in Biomedical Science. I spent my gap year as a SEN tutor and it was there that I discovered my passion for tutoring and teaching, especially in my areas of expertise (biology, chemistry, maths).

I am currently studying MSc Bio-anthropology at UCL, and I hold a BSc degree in Biomedical Science.
I spent a year and a half working as a full-time SEN tutor for years 9-11, teaching biology, chemistry and maths for GCSE students. I am used to working with a variety of SEMH needs including autism, ADHD, and EAL, and working in both one-to-one and small group environments.
I teach sessions in the evenings or weekends, and I am flexible with the length of sessions depending on your needs. I use a variety of methods tailored for the student's needs, such as 3D-printed models, memorisation methods, or tailored exam question practice.
As an example success story, I tutored a group of 3 students who all received less than 10% on their end-of-year 8 science test. By the end of year 9, they scored 35, 37 and 55%.
I would be happy to provide references, proof of qualifications and my DBS prior to our first session.
