About Srithan
I am a first-year Economics student at University College London (UCL), one of the UK's leading universities, with a strong academic background, having achieved A*A*AA at A-Level and Grades 8–9 across my GCSEs. These results reflect not only my understanding of the subjects I teach but also the study methods and exam techniques that lead to success.
As a tutor, I am committed to creating a supportive, professional, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Every lesson is carefully prepared and tailored to the individual student's needs, ensuring that they make steady progress towards their academic goals.
Having completed my A-Levels and GCSEs recently, I understand the current exam specifications and the challenges students face. I combine clear explanations with structured practice and effective revision strategies to help students build confidence and perform at their best in exams.
I take punctuality, communication, and preparation seriously, and I am dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential, whether they are looking to improve their confidence, boost their grades, or achieve the highest marks.

As a first-year Economics student at UCL, I understand the importance of building strong foundations and developing confidence in a subject. Having recently achieved A*A*AA at A-Level and Grades 8–9 at GCSE, I know the challenges students face and the techniques that helped me succeed.
My teaching style is patient, engaging, and tailored to each student. I begin by identifying areas of strength and weakness before creating a structured plan to target the topics that need the most improvement. During lessons, I explain concepts clearly, work through examples step by step, and encourage students to solve problems independently with guidance where needed. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students understand how to maximise marks and avoid common mistakes.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is adapted to the student's pace and goals, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, catch up on difficult topics, or achieve the highest grades.
I teach A-Level and GCSE Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics, as well as GCSE Computer Science. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, from those looking to strengthen their understanding of the basics to those striving for top grades. Alongside subject knowledge, I aim to develop problem-solving skills and effective study habits that will benefit students beyond their exams.
