About Stefan
I research mathematical models of learning in the brain. This work is reliant on high-level mathematics and I am confident teaching it up to undergraduate level. I have been tutoring mathematics at all levels for 6 years in which time I have helped over 30 students obtain their desired grades. I have a graphics tablet which allows me to teach whilst using an online whiteboard.

I base all my lessons around trying to build intuition. The worst thing a student can do is blindly memorise formulae and problem-solving procedures - it is both time inefficient and ineffective. Everything needs to feel secure, from the base up, in order to successfully solve tricky problems.
