About Dominic
My name is Dominic and I am currently studying Computer Science at UCD. I got 577 points in the Leaving Cert with the following subjects - MATHS - H1 - DCG - H1 - GEOGRAPHY - H2 - ECONOMICS - H2 - BUSINESS - H2 - FRENCH - H2 - ENGLISH - H2 - IRISH - H3. Math is one of my favourite subjects and I especially enjoy teaching it to others. I will make every attempt for a student to understand a concept or example. I was very poor at math at Junior Cert but disciplined myself to learn, which eventually got me the grade I wanted. From this, I am a firm believer that anyone can thrive in Maths. Some believe they can't because they don't have the fundamentals, which I will make sure my students understand.

My lessons are aimed at both Leaving and Junior Cert students who may be struggling in Maths (JC and LC) and Computer Science. I am a Computer Science student at UCD who has a strong background in mathematics, achieving a H1 in both predicted grades and the written exam. While I did not do the Computer Science subject in Leaving Cert, my course should make me more than qualified to teach the subject at a school level.
