About Neha
Hi! I'm Neha, a Visual Arts student at UBC Okanagan with a minor in Computer Science. English has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I'm passionate about helping younger students build the same confidence in reading and writing that I have. I'm a Visual Arts student at UBC with a strong background in English, it's always been one of my best subjects, and I genuinely enjoy helping others find their footing in it.
My lessons are tailored to the student. I don't do one-size-fits-all, I start by figuring out where you're struggling and why, then we work from there. Whether that's essay structure, reading comprehension, grammar, or just building confidence with writing, I adapt to what you actually need.
A typical session might look like reviewing a piece of work together, breaking down what's working and what isn't, then practicing the specific skill that needs attention. I keep things calm, clear, and judgment-free, especially for students who feel anxious or behind.
My lessons are best suited for K-12 and high school students looking to improve their grades, tackle assignments with more confidence, or just get better at expressing themselves in writing.
