About Tina
I am a current second-year student at UBC, working towards honours in International Relations, minor in Political Sciences and a Dual Degree with Masters of Management. My major in International Relations requires that I am at least bilingual, and hence I have a lot of experience with written and oral comprehension as well as grammar. I began taking intensive French lessons about six years ago with native French speakers. Now, I study French at UBC.

I offer French lessons for students K-12, whether they are struggling at school or if they want to improve beyond the class material. My approach to tutoring sets others apart because of how I customize every aspect of my classes to each specific student. The first session with a student is dedicated to finding out the student's learning style (visual/pictorial, vocal, hands-on etc), as well as key points of improvements and goal-setting. After I've had time to process my findings, I will let the parent/guardian and student know my plans for classes moving forward. This way, I can tailor each lesson in a way that is both effective and engaging.
