About Raisa
I am currently pursuing Computer Science at UBC. I am from Calgary and have tutored and mentored students throughout high school. I completed high school with the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma alongside the High School Diploma. Math has always been one of my absolute favourite subjects and I would love to have the opportunity to make other students fall in love with math as well!

Hello!! I am a very "learn through practice" kind of person. I always cover the basics of the topic and then give students space to practice through sample questions. Specifically, for subjects like Math, I focus on how to problem solve rather than just the concept itself, that way it helps them in the long run. My goal is to get students to a point where they don't need me anymore.
