About Darvesh
I am a tutor who wants the absolute best for my students. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years at the tutoring center near my house. Before becoming a tutor I was being tutored myself and in grade 10 I became a volunteer. In Grade 11 I started tutoring and now I have graduated from UBC with a Bachelor's in Science. I like planning out my sessions in advance so we don't spend any actual studying time doing extra things. I am very flexible and am happy to spend some extra time if needed. I am multilingual and can speak in Punjabi and Hindi as well.

I spend my first session getting to know my students and their studying habits. Everyone learns a different way and my job is to find the best way for my students to be able to grasp the knowledge. I teach by using real-world examples that the student will likely be more familiar with. I create a OneNote notebook for each of my students and do all my work in the notebook, while sharing my screen, so it is easily and always accessible. This way my students do not need to spend as much time trying to write everything down, and can instead focus on the concepts. I am most proficient in Physics 11 and 12, along with Chemistry 11. I also excel in Math up to Pre-Calculus 12. I tailor the way I teach and have experience with students with Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety.
