About RAJDEEP
My name is Rajdeep Samra and I am a current student at UCLA, my goal in life is to become an oral surgeon! I am really passionate about the sciences and I love teaching concepts such as biology, chemistry, and math! I currently work as a learning assistant at UCLA which has taught me a variety of approaches to teaching and pedagogy. I love connecting with my students and consider myself someone who is patient and willing to go the extra mile to help students succeed.

I encourage students to be active in their learning process by asking questions and discussing concepts. I make use of visual aids in order to help students understand complex concepts. In order to gauge where a student is in their learning I typically begin with warm-up activities and then engage in review. From here we can move on to new material and then work to assess how the student has mastered these concepts with problems and thought-provoking questions. I am very confident in material at the high-school level and below!
