About Shelby
Hi, I’m shelby.
I live in Yorkshire, and I am studying a Bsc Paramedic Science course at the University of Hull. At college level, I studied BTEC Level 3 Sport and exercise science within a Rugby academy, which I achieved D*D*D*!
I am extremely passionate about Rugby, playing the sport to an academy level myself, however I have extended my knowledge surrounding other sports such as Netball, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Gymnastics and Dance.
I have always been very science inclined especially surrounding the more biology/anatomy based topics within sport. I adore helping people especially through teaching! I love providing guidance and seeing students finally overcome something difficult, like a mental block or a specific topic they struggle with.
I can also cater to people who have Specific Learning Differences such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism etc. I have very adaptable teaching methods, and I am here to provide extra 1-1 support to students who may not receive it as much in their place of education.

I can tutor and help with revision, exam guidance and writing support, covering topics such as Anatomy and Physiology, Practical Sports Performance, Application of Fitness Testing, Fitness Training and Programming, Sport Psychology, Nutrition, Sports Coaching, Sports Leadership, Research Methods, Sport Injury Management, Sport Business, Sports Data Analysis, Skill Acquisition and Sports Development.
The first lesson is free, so I can understand your needs, and develop a plan of action!
Lesson can range from 1 hour - 2 hours.
Please make sure you provide me with which exam board you will be using, to ensure I can review and tutor inline with the correct specification.
