About Me Hello, my name is Ali. I have over 9 years of experience teaching IGCSE Mathematics and more than 5 years of experience teaching online. My background includes a BSc in Chemistry with Honors, and I am currently in my second year of a Master’s in Online Teaching, which allows me to bring both subject expertise and modern teaching methods to my lessons. My teaching approach is clear, structured, and student-focused. I start from the basics and build knowledge step by step, ensuring that every student has a strong foundation before moving on to more advanced topics. I believe in making lessons engaging and interactive, with plenty of practice through exam-style questions and problem-solving exercises to build confidence and prepare students for success. My Teaching Approach I believe that every student learns best when concepts are explained step by step, starting from the basics and gradually building up to more advanced levels. My goal is to ensure that students not only memorize but truly understand the material so they can apply their knowledge confidently. Teaching Methodology: For Math, I explain the concept first, then give students practice questions in pairs—starting simple and increasing the level of difficulty until they are fully confident. Lesson Structure & Length: My lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I adapt to the student’s pace and needs. Each session is structured to include explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. Experience & Qualifications: I have 9+ years of experience tutoring both Science and Math, helping students at different levels build a strong foundation and improve their exam performance. My teaching is tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges.
