About Andy
I am a masters degree holder form Ulster University who teaches Teeline shorthand, which allows for writing at high speeds and is highly desired by employers.
During my time at University, I set up a tutoring program and helped teach my fellow students to pass their shorthand exams.

Hello,
I am a friendly and enthusiastic Teeline shorthand Tutor and hold a master’s degree in Journalism from Ulster University, which includes an NCTJ qualification in Teeline shorthand at 100 words per minute.
During my time at university, I excelled at learning and teaching shorthand and held tutoring sessions each week with fellow students.
With experience in private tuition and extensive knowledge of shorthand past-papers and exam and continuous assessment protocols, I am confident that I can help students to reach their full academic potential in this tricky and abstract subject. A Teeline shorthand qualification is essential to obtain a National Council for the Training of Journalists diploma, which is highly sought after by employers.
- Lessons will be in person, anywhere in Northern Ireland, as learning this subject is more suited to face-to-face sessions. Online tutoring is also available for those who require it.
-The fee is £25 per lesson, with a discount available for groups. This will include tutoring in Teeline theory and outlines, word grouping and speed development, as well as feedback on Teeline note-taking and transcription.
