About Julia
A bit about me!
My name is Julia Zoratto and I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania- currently living in New York City! I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Ithaca College in May of 2022 with a BFA in Acting. Aside from acting and my professional career in that field- my expertise lies in teaching, English, and History. Theatre as a degree requires extensive knowledge of plays, history, and literature- in addition to performance. I love the pursuit of English and History and have been academically recognized within those fields- winning the Sauer's History Prize in 2017.
In my academic career and beyond, I have been a successful teacher to students in the arts and academically. I have taught children ages 3-19 in a variety of different subjects. I have taught in person and virtually through the pandemic. Currently I am a tutor with Amplify Education- teaching reading literacy remotely.

Hello! My name is Julia Zoratto and I have been a teacher, teaching assistant, counsellor, tutor, and mentor for 7 years. I am an Ithaca College Suma Cum Laude graduate, I have taught children ages 6-19 in a variety of subjects including reading, dance, movement, Shakespeare, and English. I am currently seeking students who need assistance with essay writing in the subjects of history and English (specializing in Shakespeare and Theatre History). I am also available to work with younger students on reading comprehension and phonetics. I look forward to learning together!
