About Jenny
I have had over 15 years experience working with SEN in both primary and now at post 16 college. I presently help students study for their maths GCSE. Where I have worked with special needs I am more aware of the different ways people learn so I can not say there is a particular way that I will do my lessons as it is very dependent on the pupil. I would first ask for a test to be completed so that I know where their starting point is this helps me individualize the lesson to them. The test would need to be sent back 2 days before the lesson to give me time to analyse what they need help with. From this we can work out a plan on the things that we would need to cover. I will try to make my lessons as interactive as possible so that the pupil learns by doing rather than listening.

My teaching method is individual according to the pupil. I do try to make my lessons as interactive as possible as I believe that you learn mainly through doing and not listening. I will cover any exam questions as needed and show how to break these down to understand what the examiner wants.
