About Jayani
I’m a medical student with a strong passion for learning and helping others achieve their academic goals. My background has strengthened my skills in explaining complex ideas clearly and patiently, and I enjoy using these strengths to support students in their studies. I chose to tutor because I understand how valuable personalised guidance can be, especially during important stages like the 11 Plus and GCSEs. Watching students grow in confidence, improve their grades, and feel proud of their progress is incredibly rewarding for me. My aim is to create a supportive, motivating learning environment where every student feels comfortable, encouraged, and capable of reaching their full potential.

My tutoring approach is friendly, structured, and tailored to each student. I start by identifying strengths and gaps, then use step-by-step explanations, practice questions, and exam-style exercises to build confidence and understanding. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I can adjust based on a student’s needs. I hold GCSEs and A Levels and have 2 years of tutoring experience, supporting students with different learning styles. My lessons are designed for primary (11 Plus) and GCSE-level students who want to improve skills, prepare for exams, or gain confidence in their subjects. My goal is to make learning clear, manageable, and engaging so every student can make real progress.
