About Poppy
Hi I'm Poppy and I love English and all things Literature from books, and novels to poems and plays. I have a comprehensive understanding of exam technique and specification specifically when it comes to higher education and A-level. I have unique and comprehensive annotations of all set texts for both GCSE and A-level as well as critical theorems and contextual history to help take your Essays from an A to an A*. I am studying Media, English and Publishing at the top publishing course in the country Oxford Brookes.

I tailor all of my lessons to each individual student and work with them to help them improve individual skills and work towards a goal whether that be specific mark on an assessment, homework or final grade. I have extensive experience in writing complex and comprehensive essays to the AQA English Exam Specification for both A-level English Literature and English GCSE. I have a complex and complete knowledge of A-level texts such as Othello, Keats Poetry, Death of a Salesman and crime genre and technique. I have individual and standard grades of analysis for GCSE texts and Poetry as well as A-level texts which will help my students better understand and analyse texts in critical ways. I will also provide background knowledge and theories to help bring essays from A's to A*.
