About Minya
Hello! My name is Minya and I’m currently pursuing my BSc in Zoology. I’ve always been deeply fascinated by the way life works, from the tiniest cells to the most complex systems in the animal kingdom. This curiosity led me to choose Zoology as my field, and now I’m excited to help others discover how beautiful and understandable science can actually be. Though I don’t have formal teaching experience yet, I’ve often helped my classmates and juniors with their studies. That’s when I realized how much I enjoy simplifying concepts and creating a space where learning feels comfortable and even fun. I’m committed, patient, and always ready to explain a topic in different ways until it clicks. I teach in both English and Malayalam, based on the student’s preference. I take pride in being approachable and supportive, especially for students who may feel shy or nervous about asking questions. I believe everyone learns differently, and I adjust my teaching pace and style to suit each learner. My Teaching Approach
As a BSc Zoology student, I understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed by complex topics, especially in biology. That’s why my teaching style is built around patience, understanding, and making learning feel simple, not stressful.
My Method & Techniques:
I don’t believe in rushing through topics or stuffing too much into one lesson. My goal is to create a calm space where students feel safe to ask questions, no matter how small or “silly” they think they are. I explain concepts using everyday examples, visuals (like diagrams or mind maps), and I always check if the student is following along before moving forward.
A Typical Lesson with Me:
5 mins: Quick recap of the previous lesson
35 mins: Step-by-step explanation of the new topic with examples
10 mins: Doubt clearing or quiz-style recap to test understanding
5 mins: Homework/Revision tips or a small assignment
I also give personal learning tips, study hacks, and even help with managing exam pressure, especially for school students who feel anxious.
What Makes Me Different:
I may not have formal experience, but I bring a fresh perspective, as someone who is still learning too. I teach with empathy, I understand the fear of “not getting it,” and I never shame a student for needing extra time or explanations. I treat every student with respect and care, as if I were studying with my younger self.

I teach school students (classes 6 to 12) who want help with:
Biology/Zoology – all chapters, especially board exam prep
Basic Maths – for students who need support in understanding concepts clearly
