About Sonam
I have a MASTERS IN SCIENCE which means I had to cover the Basic Principles of Mathematics in order to complete my postgraduate courses. I have a passion for teaching and I believe that every child brings something unique on the table. As a teacher it is our job to figure out how a child thinks and retains material learned in class then utilize techniques suites to their thinking capacity. Contrary to what people think teaching is quite a challenging profession and that's what keeps me coming back for more.

I teach children in primary school who are struggling to keep up with their in class lessons and homework. It is important to understand that children just like adults learn at different paces. Often in a school setting a child may not get the attention he needs. It is only through private tutoring that they are able to ask the questions they need to grow.
In my lessons we always start with an evaluation of where each kid is at in their current curriculum. This also helps me get a sense of their strengths and weaknesses.
We will then tackle basic math principles followed by problem solving and Algebra. Each class build on the other so it is essential that we start with the basics before plunging into the deep end.
My message to parents is that patience is key and perseverance the magic wand. Together you, me and your child will make it out the other side nothing less of a primary school wizard.
