About Thalia
With 6 years of experience teaching Chemistry, I have developed a student-focused approach that helps learners understand challenging scientific concepts with greater clarity. I teach students from K–12 to College 1st Year and customize my instruction according to their academic level, goals, and existing knowledge.
I enjoy transforming complicated Chemistry topics into simple, logical steps. My lessons emphasize understanding, application, and independent thinking rather than memorizing information without context. I use examples, questions, visual explanations, practice problems, and interactive discussions to make learning more effective.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have helped students work through areas such as chemical equations, molecular structure, bonding, mole concepts, stoichiometric calculations, periodic properties, solutions, acids and bases, thermochemistry, and introductory organic Chemistry.
Every learner has a different way of understanding a subject, so I remain flexible and patient throughout the learning process. I encourage students to ask questions, identify their mistakes, and gradually develop better problem-solving strategies.

My Chemistry lessons focus on turning complicated scientific ideas into simple, understandable steps. I teach learners from K–12 to College 1st Year and personalize each session according to their current knowledge, curriculum, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Every lesson is built around understanding. Instead of relying on memorization alone, I guide students through the logic behind chemical principles so they can recognize patterns, connect ideas, and solve unfamiliar questions with greater confidence. Topics may include atomic structure, the periodic table, bonding, chemical reactions, mole calculations, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, equilibrium, acids and bases, and introductory organic chemistry.
I use a combination of explanation, examples, questioning, practice exercises, and constructive feedback to keep lessons active and productive. If a student struggles with a particular concept, I approach it from a different angle until it becomes clearer.
I can also tailor sessions for homework assistance, revision, test preparation, or strengthening foundational knowledge. My classroom atmosphere is supportive and pressure-free, encouraging students to participate, ask questions, and develop independent problem-solving habits.
