Armando Soler is one of the best trombonist of his generation. When he was living in Cuba he was playing and recording with the best bands. I had the pleasure to meet him in Spain when he was in Tour with the master Alain Pérez, and from that moment, every time I share with him is a new lesson, worthy of admiration.
Not only his knowledge in classical, jazz and Afro-Cuban music, but also, the heart and soul he puts into it, either singing or playing trombone.

An excellent young trombonist. Very good technically with a mastery of the instrument that is unusual for his age. From a very young age he has devoted himself to the trombone. In addition to being a brilliant improviser, he is very versatile and complete in his training, being able to venture into all genres of music. We are in the presence of a great human being who would be an incredible student for a teacher.

I know Armando from classes @ Havanna Music School. He’s an amazing trombone player in very different styles of music. He was very engaged and motivated.
