About Sophia
Trombonist/vocalist Sophia Griswold most recently spent six months performing in the official band of one of the world's largest events, the World Expo in Dubai: Expo 2020 Dubai. There, she opened for various artists including Christina Aguilera, Norah Jones, Jason Derulo, Marshmello, Davido, Jacob Collier, Yo-Yo Ma, and more. Sophia is a current student at Berklee College of Music and a former member of groups including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra and the 2019 All-Nation Jazz Band. She has performed professionally with Grammy Award winning Delfeayo Marsalis, NSYNC's Joey Fatone, Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean, and Old Crow Medicine Show and at internationally recognized venues such as The Newport Jazz Festival, The House of Blues, and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. She is a member of the New England Major League Rugby band and has also been a contracted performer for theme parks and various wedding entertainment companies on both trombone and vocals. National television appearances include Emirates TV, Abu Dhabi TV and ESPN. What sets Sophia apart is her lively stage presence and passion for connecting to audiences. She is currently working on releasing her own original music and looking forward to developing her personal artistry. (concealed information)

She can also assist you in achieving your career goals, drawing from her extensive experience as a professional musician. Or, she's simply here to help you grow and discover new and exciting ways to play the trombone!
