About Isola
With over 4 years of teaching experience and a BM in Choral Conducting (Vocal Emphasis), I specialize in helping singers thrive in the studio environment. My lessons are designed for students preparing for professional recording sessions and vocal production work. I teach a range of contemporary styles including R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music. Together, we focus on building both vocal strength and studio artistry. You’ll learn key techniques like microphone placement, vocal compression awareness, and effective use of auto-tune. I also guide singers in layering harmonies and shaping their tone for clarity and balance. My approach emphasizes musical authenticity and control under studio conditions. I’ve worked with school students, emerging recording artists, and adult performers aiming for commercial success. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals and musical identity. I value a mix of structure and creative exploration. My goal is to help you sound confident and expressive on every track. My teaching approach is built on helping singers grow in both confidence and skill. Every lesson focuses on developing a strong, healthy vocal foundation that supports expressive and powerful singing. I guide students through techniques that improve tone, control, and breath support. Beyond technique, I help singers prepare for auditions and live performances with real-world strategies. We focus on managing performance anxiety and learning how to perform under pressure. Stage presence is a key part of my teaching — I help students connect emotionally with their audience. I also assist in selecting repertoire that fits each student’s voice and style. Together, we explore songs that challenge and inspire. My lessons combine vocal warm-ups, performance exercises, and interpretation coaching. I’m especially experienced in working with adult beginners who need confidence and advanced teens preparing for auditions. My goal is to make each singer feel capable and expressive. I provide feedback that’s honest but encouraging. Each session builds not only vocal ability but artistic identity. We’ll get you ready to perform at your best — calm, confident, and captivating.
