About Umay
Born in Istanbul in 1977, Umay Aslı Gelgör
I started studying theater in 1994.(K.K.H.M)
I started to take art education in Mimar Sinan Unversity of fine Arts Faculty in1997, in Istanbul.(Department of textile and fabric design )
After i completed my four years of education, i have worked in cinema, tv and advertising sector, costume designs and plastic make-up designs. I am in this sector for 19 years. I love my job and enjoying the pleasure of taking parts in many beautiful projects.

I alsohaveworked in specialbigprojectslikethesefamousTurkishmovies; (Kabuslar evi, Ulak, Presesin uykusu, Issız adam vb) andrecently Ihaveworked as Make-updesignerfor "The Rise of the Empires: Ottoman", it’s an OttomanPerioddocumentary drama whichwill be featured on Netflixbytheend of thisyear (2019)

About the lesson

We start the makeup with the first drawing and color information techniques, and we draw light and golge techniques by drawing. This is the first lesson for the makeup artist to learn. Afterwards, we learn how to use color mixes and materials by moving from easy to hard. In these rules, hygiene is the most important one. We also recommend you to see our media makeup or face painting lessons.
