I am a trained teacher in the Manchester area with a 2:1 degree in Mathematics from Exeter University. I teach Mathematics at all levels in secondary school and at AS-level.

About Jonathan
Styles of tutoring have varied depending on situation of the tutee but being in the right environment was certainly key to the success of my students. Every student I have taught has either improved a grade or achieved the pass they required for their entrance examination.
I have worked in school for over a year and have a collection of resources available for students to learn from. I am very confident in providing multiple ways for students to approach a topic and having questions at an appropriate level to challenge their understanding.

I like to include exam questions as much as possible in my lessons to best prepare students for the tests they will experience in their school career. I enjoy going though theory to help broaden understanding provided it is at the right level. I will work with students to find the best way for them to learn.

As our son was struggling with his Maths GCSE we contacted Jonathan for help & we're so glad we did. He is obviously passionate about the subject & his patience definitely paid dividends.
