About Georgia
I believe that making clothes is the absolute pinnacle of self-expression and unlocking that skill helped me to express who I am in a way I hadn't been able to ever before. I've been sewing my own clothes since I was 11 and I wish more people could experience the joy and satisfaction it brings! Just like your garments, we can tailor your lessons exactly to you! If you need help with a specific pattern or project, you've got no idea where to start or you'd like to methodically work on techniques to improve your art, I can help you however you need. I studied a BA in Costume Production (essentially making clothes) at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School for three years before working in Haute Couture, high-end fashion and starting my own business making bespoke one-off pieces. I am a self-taught knitter with almost 20 years under my belt and I make almost all of my own clothes. I've taught children as young as four, adults in retirement and everyone in between! I have an enhanced DBS certificate and a full driving licence. For an additional fee I can also bring my own machine for us to work on - message me to chat about this!

Perfect! Georgia is such a star and wonderful knitting tutor - kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Well, it started with knitting and progressed into patch work and blinds, apparently there isn’t anything Georgia can’t help with…. She creates such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, and always takes the time to explain things clearly, no matter your skill level (mine was non-existent!) Her passion for knitting and crafts really shines through, and she makes every session enjoyable as well as inspiring. If you're looking for someone supportive, talented, and encouraging to learn from, I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Details
In Person Lessons: £40/hr
Group Lessons (In person only): 2 - 5 students: +£15 per additional student
6+ students: +£5 per additional student
For Group Lessons students should be at similar stages in their learning to get the most out of the lessons. These lessons must be either sewing, or knitting for all students.
Online Lessons: £35/hr (you need to have a camera view from above, such as an iPhone on a tripod facing downwards) - I don't recommend these for children under 13 as it can be quite hard to get your head around the verbal instructions without a physical, in person demonstration.
TRAVEL: Students within Arundel or less than 15 minutes drive away don’t pay travel. More than 15 minutes drive from Arundel - £15 flat fee to cover fuel/train costs and time travelling.
Free for group sessions of 4+ students or sessions over 3 hours long.
