About Ama
I am a self-taught artist whose work is rooted in self-expression, culture, heritage, and language. While I work with various mediums, I am particularly passionate about painting. My practice extends beyond personal expression to include teaching and skill-sharing, bridging the gap between artistic practice and education. I believe in the power of art as a therapeutic outlet and a means of storytelling. Additionally, I teach art to people of all ages in studios across London, fostering creativity and self-expression. I am committed to creating inclusive community spaces that welcome diversity and provide a safe environment for individuals to explore their creativity and connect through art.

My lessons are very focused on the level of the learner. It is important that you are creating something you are proud of and many mistakes will be made on the way but this is the best way to improve within art. Experimentation teaches. Lessons typically last for an hour and are catered and tailored around the learners' expectations and learning goals. Lessons are for all ages, and catered to specific learning abilities as well.
