About Jason

Jason has already trained the people who have to live with the system after the install:
• User and commissioning training on a Mitel 5000 VoIP cutover (KLH Engineers), including post-install validation
• Installation training for school-bus mechanics and transportation directors on illuminated signage and stop-arm systems
• Manufacturer sales and product training exposure across Mitel, Avaya, Crestron, AMX, Valcom, AXIS, Polycom, Atlas Sound, and related platforms
• Crew leadership as Director of Service & Special Projects and as a senior field / sales engineer — the same role that has to bring helpers up to a shop standard

Jason is effective because he teaches from the last 30 years of being the person who had to make it work:
1. He has taught users and mechanics, not just sat in manufacturer classes. Mitel commissioning training and First Light install training are already on the record.
2. He can show the failure modes. Bad punch-downs, unlabeled closets, failed Fluke tests, noisy 70-volt runs, cameras that look fine until the AHJ walks the site — those are the hours he has already burned and can short-circuit for a student.
3. He covers the stack, not one gadget. Voice, data, AV, CCTV, paging, racks, and service sit on the same cable plant. That is how shops actually staff a helper.
4. He has run crews. Director of Service and senior field roles mean he already had to get other people’s hands consistent. Training a Saturday class is the same job with a syllabus.
5. He can talk to both the new tech and the owner. Sales-engineer background means he can explain why a clean plant saves callbacks and why a shop should pay for the seat.

LOW VOLTAGE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING
Voice · Data · Audio/Video · CCTV · Infrastructure Cabling · Hardware Install & Service
Stop sending green techs out to learn on a paying customer’s job.
This class covers the work low-voltage techs actually get hired to do:
• Structured cabling for voice and data
• Infrastructure pathways, support, labeling, and documentation
• Audio/video cabling, racks, and associated hardware
• CCTV / security infrastructure
• Termination, testing, and certification basics
• Service and troubleshooting techniques that reduce callbacks
Who it’s for
• New installers and helpers
• Electricians adding low-voltage work
• Integrator crews that need a common standard
• Service techs who can pull cable but lose time on punch-down, test, and repair
How it’s taught
Small group. Hands-on. Field methods first, code and best practice right behind it. You leave knowing how to install it, test it, and fix it.
