About Thobile Snegugu
I am a 27 year old native English speaker from South Africa. I am a fun, outspoken, energetic and easy going person with a friendly personality. I take great pride in my culture and I am entrenched by my religion. I am a strong, independent and driven young lady that loves a challenge and never gives up.
I am TEFL certified, passionate about teaching and I love sharing my skills and my knowledge with others so that they can reach their full potential. I also hold a Bachelors degree in town and regional planning and have been working for my local municipality as a town planner since 2019.

My being a friendly and easily approachable person makes it very easy for my students to feel comfortable in my classroom. It also makes it easy for them to feel free to ask questions and to make mistakes.
I always give my students the freedom to make mistakes and then I correct them because in that way, they learn and they grow. I use a lot of TPR so that students can make sense of my words through my actions.
I also use visuals because showing a picture facilitates easy learning and this has been a great way for my students to learn new vocabulary words. I am also big on encouragement. Constantly encouraging my students shows them that they are doing well and are making progress.
