About William
I am the youngest in my year to receive university offers as I was given the opportunity to skip 2 grades, thanks to my excelling grades, in one of the top high schools in the U.K.
My Profile is as below:
Year 1 to Year 9 - Studied in an international school in Hong Kong
Year 9 - Taught myself IGCSE Math, Further Pure Math and Physics, receiving an A* in each subject.
At the age of 14, one of the top performing high schools gave an offer for me to study in Year 12.
Year 12 - I achieved A* in Mathematics. I achieved top AS Level grades for Physics and Chemistry, then predicted A* for both Physics and Chemistry. I also received a gold award in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust Senior Mathematical Challenge, then a merit (top 25% of candidates) on the Kangaroo Challenge.
Year 13 - The University of Warwick (ranked top 21 in the world) has given me an offer for Mathematics, UCL and King’s College London has given an offer for Mathematics with Management and Finance. HKUST (#22 A&F) and CUHK (#39 A&F) has given conditional offers for Quantitative Finance.
I hope to share my experience in helping students be successful in their academics. Language Fluent in both English (My IELTS is 8.5) and Cantonese, and can understand Mandarin.

Lessons are carefully tailor-made to suit various students with different learning styles. I do not waste the student’s time and will place heavy emphasis on the learning curriculum and exam success. In addition, I have a deep understanding of the underlying concepts that may not be fully explained in many school textbooks and wish to share this knowledge with students so they have a full understanding of the topics being taught. This gives them an edge over other students in future studies, as they are able to build upon their foundation knowledge far easier.
I have 5 years of tutoring experience in teaching Maths, Physics and Chemistry for middle and high school students. I have taught multiple different curriculums, including IGCSE and IB. All the students taught had a massive improvement in their grades, including one who received an E for their mock exam but to an A* in just 2-3 months.
