About Ritvik
Hi, I’m Ritvik—a high school student who’s not only passionate about math, but also into lacrosse, finding new food spots, and spending time with friends. I’ve earned a 780 on the SAT Math section and hold a 3.86 unweighted GPA, and I’m planning to study Finance at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Hi, I’m Ritvik, a high school student who’s passionate about making Arithmetic and Algebra 1 easier for younger students. With a 780 SAT Math score and a 3.86 unweighted GPA, I’ve consistently performed at the top of my class in math and want to help others do the same.
Being a student myself, I understand the challenges that come with learning math, and I can easily relate to kids close to my age. I know how it feels to be confused by a concept, and I focus on identifying where students are getting stuck and breaking down problems in a simple, relatable way.
My teaching method is based on clarity, patience, and confidence-building. Each lesson begins with a quick review, followed by interactive explanations of new topics and guided practice, leading into independent work with feedback. I make sure students feel heard, supported, and encouraged to ask questions freely.
What sets me apart is not only my academic success, but my ability to connect with students as a peer, making learning more comfortable and less intimidating. I offer tutoring for middle schoolers and early high schoolers in Algebra 1 or lower, whether they’re trying to catch up or get ahead.
