About Donia
As a recent top student graduate, I understand firsthand how overwhelming high school courses can feel, especially within the American curriculum. One of the reasons I enjoy teaching is because I believe many students are far more capable than they think — they simply are not always taught in a way that truly accommodates their learning style.
In many classrooms, students are given formulas, study materials, and assignments without being shown how to actually approach them effectively. I want to bridge that gap by helping students understand not only the content itself, but also strategies behind studying that they can use even in college. My goal is to make difficult subjects feel manageable, logical, and less intimidating.
Because I recently went through these courses myself, I can offer modern and realistic techniques that genuinely helped me succeed academically. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their abilities!

In my sessions, I aim to make concepts in mathematics/calculus and biology/chemistry/physics feel enjoyable and logical for students by adapting each lesson to their individual learning style. My techniques entail simplifying complex topics by breaking them down to their core ideas in a way that actually makes students understand why concepts work instead of just memorizing formulas!
I also focus on helping students recognize patterns behind test questions through repeated practice, worksheets, visual learning techniques, and exam-style conditioning so they can approach questions with confidence and strategy.
Since I recently graduated high school myself, I am very familiar with the American curriculum and the types of questions students struggle with most. This allows me to share effective and realistic study methods and test-taking strategies that facilitated my academic success.
My lessons are typically 1–2 hours long depending on the student’s needs and goals. During sessions, I combine explanations, problem-solving strategies, and questions to help students improve their academic stance and increase test-taking confidence.
As a valedictorian graduate, I achieved a 790/800 on the SAT Math section and scored 4+ on multiple scientific AP exams. I also have several years of tutoring experience working with students of different learning levels in my school. I can speak 2 languages fluently (Native Arabic, C2 English (8.5 IELTS))
My lessons are mainly for students in Grades 9–12 following the American curriculum, but I am also open to helping younger students who want extra support or advanced preparation in math and/or science.
