About Ben
As a current GCSE student studying further maths, I know the curriculum inside out — I was doing it not that long ago. I specialise in maths, chemistry and physics for year 7 and under, as well as doing comedy gigs and playing for a hockey team. I think my relaxed and friendly approach to tutoring allows kids to open up and maintains a relaxed and productive environment so your child can get as much as possible out of their lessons.

Each session is one hour, online via video call, and planned around your child specifically. Before we start I'll find out what they're finding difficult and build the lesson around that. I cover the full year 7 maths, chemistry and physics curriculum and I'm happy to help with homework, test prep or just filling in gaps.
My lessons are low pressure and one-to-one, so your child never has to worry about feeling embarrassed asking questions. We go at their pace and I always make sure they've genuinely understood something before we move on. I find a lot of year 7s just need someone to slow down and explain things differently — that's exactly what I do.
