About Dara
My name is Dara, and I am a dedicated and patient English tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students grow. I am completing my Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, and throughout middle and high school I scored in the top 2% on the STAAR English assessments. These experiences shaped my ability to break down complex ideas into simple steps and teach with clarity, structure, and confidence. I take my role as a tutor seriously, and I always create a supportive, organized, and motivating learning environment. Whether a student needs help with reading, writing, grammar, or building overall confidence, I tailor each lesson to their individual pace and goals. As a tutor, I blend my strengths as an MPH Epidemiology graduate student with my lifelong passion for reading, writing, and academic excellence. I scored in the top 2% on STAAR English assessments, and I use that same mastery to help students understand English in a clear, structured, and confidence-building way.
