Ann recognizes that every child requires a different approach to help them achieve their fullest potential. For example, while some children thrive under strict supervision, others find success when they are allowed more independence in their learning journey. While Ann will adapt her approach to meet your child's specific needs, some parts of her philosophy are fundamental.
Research has shown that students whose teachers believe in their potential and treat them as if they are going to succeed end up achieving higher. As such, Ann always recognizes and points out a child's strengths and lets them know that her expectations are high. Ann also believes that students who connect with their teachers on an emotional level often achieve higher because of a desire to earn the approval of the teacher. As such, Ann always strives to make a strong connection with the student so that they know she cares about them and wants to see them succeed.
