Hi! I’m a Grade 12 student based right here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and I am offering personalized, relatable peer tutoring to help students boost their grades, build confidence, and truly understand what they are learning.
Because I am a high school student myself, I am actively immersed in the current Manitoba curriculum. I know exactly what teachers are looking for on rubrics, how exams are structured, and the common pitfalls that trip students up. I don't just teach the material, I teach how to succeed within the system.
My Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I don’t believe in boring lectures or just reading from a textbook. My approach is interactive, encouraging, and tailored to how you learn best:
The "We Do, You Do" Method: We break down a concept together step-by-step, and then I guide you through practice problems until you can conquer them independently.
Active Recall & Visuals: For biology and science, we use memory-boosting techniques like drawing out systems, creating custom flashcards, and testing your knowledge with quick, stress-free quizzes.
Bilingual Integration: I am fully fluent in both Arabic and English. If a concept is confusing in English, I can explain it in Arabic to build a solid foundation, then seamlessly bridge the gap back to the English curriculum.
A Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan
