Hello! I am Sushat, a passionate History buff and a Teacher with a proven track record of academic excellence and a deep love for teaching to ignite my students' minds. As someone who scored cent percent in High school in History all the time, I bring the past to life by transforming dry dates and dead facts into gripping human stories.
History isn't just a collection of old dates and dusty names; it's the ultimate human story, filled with ambition, mystery, and triumph. I want to teach history to young students because the classroom is a time machine, and watching a student suddenly realize that historical figures were real people navigating a complex world is magic. History isn't a static list of dates, kings, and treaties; it is a dynamic, unfolding story. As a History teacher, my approach strips away the dust to treat the past not as something that happened to people, but as choices made by real humans navigating complex, unpredictable worlds.
Target Audience
My classes are primarily designed for high school students, undergraduate college students who are ready to move past rote memorization.
Teaching Techniques and Methods:
Narrative Storytelling: I present history as an unfolding drama with compelling characters, motives, and plot twists rather than a dry timeline of events.
Modern Connections: I relate historical events, conflicts, and decisions directly to current world events, pop culture, or everyday life to highlight their relevance.
