About TIANZE
I am currently completing a doctoral degree in education, motivated by a deep passion for teaching. I chose this field because I firmly believe I am a natural educator—not only due to my strong sense of responsibility but also because helping others gain knowledge gives me great satisfaction. A core principle in my teaching approach is ensuring that curriculum design matches students’ cognitive levels. This way, I can fully engage their interest and encourage their eagerness to explore new languages. Professionally, I am well-qualified for this work. In 2020, I earned the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL), and since 2022, I have been teaching Mandarin online to learners of different ages and proficiency levels. My international experience also strengthens my perspective. I am fluent in both Mandarin and English, having lived in the UK and New Zealand—where I am currently based—which has deepened my cross-cultural understanding and communication skills.

I believe this helps me identify the interests and difficulties of students in their learning. - My lessons are better for those who have already started and wish to make further progress. My lessons also warmly welcome students with no prior knowledge.
