About Roland
I am a medical student currently in my third year. Looking at teaching children studying for their GCSE or A Level examinations in mainly STEM subjects. I am most confident teaching Biology and Chemistry for both GCSE and A Level, but am also happy to teach Maths and Physics for GCSE. I have done many online lessons over the last year, particularly aimed at GCSE students and have worked with sites such as MedicMind and GoStudent. I have also taught in person with experiences ranging from 1 to 1 GCSE lessons to teaching full classes.

I am happy to teach a small group and also teach individuals. My lessons will focus on the basic fundamentals as well as tips which I used to score highly from experience. I believe in letting my students choose and discover their own methods for solving questions, whilst encouraging them to push themselves and challenge themselves further. Mainly aimed at students studying GCSE but also happy to do A Levels. Subjects offered are mathematics, biology and chemistry. I got a 9 in maths, chemistry and biology GCSE whilst also achieving an A in biology and an A star in maths and chemistry A Levels. I have also come in the top 50 in the UK Maths Olympiad.

Perfect! Roland was super helpful with my A-level Chemistry preparation. He is very patient, and made lessons tailored to my needs, which made difficult concepts much easier to understand.
