About Neaira
Hi, my name is Neaira, and I am a third-year undergraduate science student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Environmental Science. I am deeply passionate about the environment and sustainability, but I also enjoy math and science as a whole. Since I was young, I’ve believed that the best way to learn is by teaching whether it’s explaining concepts to a friend, a pet, or even a favorite stuffed toy! I truly enjoy simplifying complex topics and connecting them to everyday life to make learning easier and more meaningful. Attention to detail, clear communication, and active engagement are at the core of my teaching style, helping students build confidence and achieve their best.

I’m passionate about helping high school students (ages 13–17) build a strong understanding of math and science by making learning relevant and engaging. I use real-world examples to explain concepts, so students don’t just memorize—they truly get how things work and why it matters. Each lesson is carefully paced over 1 to 1.5 hours, giving plenty of time for questions, practice, and clear explanations tailored to your child’s needs. While I’m new to professional tutoring, I’ve helped many friends and classmates succeed and feel confident in their studies. Whether your child is just starting or looking to strengthen their foundation in subjects like chemistry, biology, environmental science, or math, I’m here to support their growth and make learning enjoyable.
