About Owen
I am a third year Mathematics undergrad student at the University of Washington. I have worked since high school as a tutor for various levels of mathematics and on my own have participated in mathematics research projects at my university. Math is something that I find exciting and thoroughly enjoy teaching or helping others understand!

I first began helping other students with mathematics after school in middle school, and since then have worked off and on as a mathematics tutor. Through high school I worked with elementary school students on understanding more fundamental math topics, and in college have worked as an online tutor for more complex topics you may see early in college or in advanced high school courses. I think it's important not to have a set teaching method, as everyone learns math differently and having one method can result in some students feeling like they "just don't understand math".
