About Zara

Allow me to introduce myself - I am Zara, a woman who thrives on sharing knowledge and teaching Spanish. I have a genuine passion for helping others discover the beauty of the Spanish language. When I'm not teaching, I'm often out exploring the world, fuelled by my love for travel and adventure. Whether it's immersing myself in the vibrant cultures of Spanish-speaking countries or discovering new cultures across the globe, I embrace every opportunity to broaden my knowledge and bring those experiences back to my teaching. In addition to my love for travel, I have a competitive spirit that finds expression on the football field. Playing football allows me to channel my energy, learn the importance of teamwork and patience. Also, you'll find me riding the waves on a longboard or playing the guitar. Surfing provides me with a sense of freedom and connection with nature, while playing the guitar unleashes my creativity and allows me to express myself through music;) As your Spanish teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge, a spirit of adventure, and a passion for diverse interests. Together, we will embark on a language-learning journey that combines interactive lessons, cultural immersion, and a supportive learning environment. Let's learn Spanish, explore the world, and embrace the joy of sharing knowledge! ¡Vamos a aprender español juntos! (Let's learn Spanish together!)

About the lesson

In my Spanish lessons, I embrace the communicative method, which focuses on practical, real-life language usage and meaningful interactions. I believe that language learning should be an immersive and engaging experience! During our classes, we will actively engage in conversations, role-plays, and interactive activities to simulate authentic language situations. You will have the opportunity to practise your speaking and listening skills while gaining confidence in your ability to communicate effectively. We will explore various topics and themes, incorporating authentic materials such as videos, articles, and audio clips to expose you to the richness of the Spanish language and culture. Through these materials, you will develop a deeper understanding of vocabulary, grammar structures, and cultural nuances. I will encourage you to express your thoughts, ask questions, and participate actively in discussions! I will provide constructive feedback and correction to help you refine your pronunciation, grammar accuracy, and overall fluency. As we progress, you will notice that your ability to understand and respond in Spanish improves, enabling you to engage in meaningful conversations with native speakers. Our lessons will be tailored to your interests and goals, ensuring that you acquire the language skills most relevant to your needs. My aim is to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment where you feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and learning from them. Together, we will unlock your potential to communicate fluently and confidently in Spanish, opening doors to new opportunities and connections. Get ready to learn in this new journey that will not only enhance your language skills but also broaden your understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. Let's immerse ourselves in the language, culture, and vibrant community of Spanish speakers. ¡Vamos a aprender español juntos! (Let's learn Spanish together!)

I have been with Zara for a year, and she is an organised teacher, she gives you very good tricks when it comes to teaching you difficult grammar, I guess it's because of her experience.
She is also very patient and knows what I need to learn at all times, I recommend her 100%.
