About Anushka
I graduated from the prestigious IB School, UWC Mahindra College of Pune in 2021 with an excellent score of 40 out of 45 points and a perfect score of 7 in English Literature, Theatre and Visual Art. I am currently a freshman at the California Institute of the Arts, Majoring in Acting and Minoring in Creative Writing.
I have worked previously as an assistant teacher at a Montessori in Vienna, Virginia and have also led and participated in various non-profit efforts teaching English and Theatre to students of all ages.

As a visual learner and teacher, I believe visual aids are the easiest way for the brain to register new concepts. As an actress, fine artist, and creative writer, I like to make learning fun, creative and interesting!
A typical session with me could be whatever you want it to be, ranging from doing mini performances of dramatic literature, to making fun colorful flashcards, to writing letters to literary characters. As a lifelong lover of reading and writing, I want my students to fall in love with the English Language!
My lessons are particularly for elementary and middle schoolers who need help with English or are interested in Creative Writing. I also teach English to Second Language speakers, I am fluent in Hindi and Gujrati and can speak basic Spanish.
