I think the most important thing for teaching is making sure the students know what you are talking about, and they are on the same stage as you. Therefore, I always constantly give students different problems to solve after I have told them the concept, to make sure they are not only understanding the knowledge but also knowing how to apply the knowledge to different types of questions
