About Rumi
Rumi was born and raised in Japan, she's a native Japanese speaker having a great interest in languages.
Dr. Fish brings an unparalleled blend of musical and educational expertise to his role as a tutor of Japanese and English. He holds a Ph.D. in music from the University of Michigan and has deep ties to Japan. His academic career as a professor at Catawba College in North Carolina was marked by innovative teaching methods and a profound understanding of cultural nuances, enhanced by his personal experiences and family life with his wife Rumi.
